Parent Partnerships
At BHT Early Education and Training, we believe you, as parents and carers are central to your child’s development. We have put many strategies in place to ensure that you are included and involved in your child’s nursery education.
As part of our Parent Partnerships, communications with you are vital to gain the most important information regarding your child’s development and interests. This information gives practitioners a ‘baseline’ in terms of the developmental level your child is at. We use this information to plan meaningful and fun activities for your child when they begin their time at nursery. Practitioners also use your child’s interests to help build a relationship with them as they implement the key person system, interacting and spending time with your child.
As part of our ongoing commitment to share information with you, we have put several strategies in place to support this, for example, sharing interests through observations, photos, display boards, termly newsletters, play packs and through festivals, music and cultural celebrations.
