2 Year Assessment
If you are concerned about your child’s language and communication skills, our 2 Year Language Assessment undertaken by our experienced and highly qualified Language Development Workers identifies children with language delay and/or disorder. This is delivered as a questionnaire and asks about your child’s current language and communication skills. This can be carried out in the home or within our training facilities at The Barn and is available for a small fee.
If your child is identified as being at risk of language delay, a referral to BHT Early Education and Training’s Talking Together programme can be offered, or alternatively the Language Development Worker would make any necessary referrals onto other agencies if required; for example, referring to a Speech and Language Therapy Service and/or Audiology with parental consent.
